As Obama has witnessed, in order to make a difference and get people noticing you, you need to earn their respect first. You can’t position yourself somewhere and expect a positive response on the outset, it has to be earned. Much like when you target your website for terms in the search engines, you have to earn the respect of Google and strategically carrying out internet marketing at different stages of a campaign to help bring in quality traffic to your site.
Once you have begun on the path of earning respect, in the form of creating original content on a regular basis, finding reliable and relevant link partners, and gaining associations with authority sites, you will see traffic grow, positions increase, and conversions improve. It is no longer the case that you need to have a high page rank to get better positions, and this should not be a key factor when carrying out internet marketing promotion.
